Texas-born recording artist Sammi Rae grew up on a healthy musical diet consisting of legendary records
by Taylor Swift, George Strait, Queen, and Korn. Her early fascination with words carried her naturally
towards a career as a songwriter and it is easy to see how Rae’s broad palate for different genres has led to a writing style uniquely her own as she has developed as an artist. From lyrics that sound like a conversation with a trusted friend to chaotic glimpses inside a mind that never stops describing the world around it, Rae has a way of being painfully honest with herself in the music she writes, detailing every emotion as she felt it in the moment.Her discography currently consists of a full length Texas country record, 3 singles and an EP. Rae’s self-funded debut album Here I Am was released in August 2024 and continues the saga of a small town girl in the digital age exploring her psyche and experiencing heartbreak in real time.
